Secrets St Martin Resort and Spa Review: A Disappointing Experience

Located on the French side of the beautiful island of Saint Martin, Secrets St Martin Resort and Spa is a luxurious getaway that promises to deliver an unforgettable experience. However, our recent visit was marred by numerous disappointments, leaving us feeling frustrated and underwhelmed.

Upon arrival, we were served with only one piece of bread per plate, and had to ask for butter, which was placed on the buffet table without a plate. The service was slow and inefficient, with some guests receiving their dishes after 15 minutes while others waited for over 45 minutes. To make matters worse, the cold dishes that were finally served left much to be desired.

The resort's restaurant, Olio, where we dined on our first night, should have been closed due to the lack of service and poor quality food. Our waitress seemed new and inexperienced, failing to check in on us or attend to our needs throughout the evening. The manager was nowhere to be found, leaving guests to fend for themselves.

The room itself was another letdown, with outdated furnishings and severe damage from humid weather. We had booked a Preferred Club room, which came at a higher cost than we expected, but unfortunately did not live up to its promise.

Our experience at Secrets St Martin Resort and Spa was disappointing, to say the least. The resort's poor service, subpar food, and outdated accommodations left us feeling underwhelmed. We had high hopes for our stay, but unfortunately, this resort fell short of expectations.
